NGO donates hospital equipments to health center

A Non-Governmental Organization, Adolescent Health Education and Development‎ (AHEAD) has donated hospital equipment to Kafin Madaki community in Gajuwa local government area of Bauchi State.
The donation which was funded by the United State Government‎ through the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief /Ambassadors Small Grants Programme; PEPFAR/ASGP and is aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery services in rural communities.
While speaking, the project coordinator, Mrs. Stella Peters said that the donation was made as a result of a collaboration between AHEAD and the Kafin Madaki community in order to improve the lives of mothers, children, youth and men of the community.
“It is my belief that the service providers in the facility, project implementation committee and local government will ensure that these equipment judiciously used for the purpose they are provided,” she said.
Director Primary Healthcare Ganjuwa local government, Alhaji Muktar Muhammed commended AHEAD and the US government for the gesture. He promised the judicious use of the equipments in order to serve the community.
