A non-governmental organisation under the aegis of Abantu for Development in collaboration with African Women Development Fund (AWDF) and Global Fund for Women (GFW) recently presented working tools to 20 women who have undergone training in various skills including catering service, bead making, tailoring and shoe and bag making.
The tools presented to the beneficiaries include sewing machines, pressing iron, weaving machine, threads, zips, shoe filing machine, shoe frames, different kinds of beads and its accessories, oven and baking pans among others.
The Programme Officer, Rabiatu Halilu, said women within the age bracket of 18-35 years were enrolled in different training institutions in August, 2016 for the training.
