NGO empowers 20 FCT youths

The Grassroots Talent Discovery and Development Foundation, an NGO, yesterday donated empowerment tools to 20 youths in Gwako community in Gwagwalada Area Council.

The empowerment tools include sewing machines, clippers and car washing machines as well as cash donation.

Mr Ade Bolaji, the programme coordinator, while distributing the materials, said the empowerment tools would enable the youths to engage in self-empowerment activities.

He said the gesture was part of efforts to encourage youths in the area to improve their economic status and reduce youth restiveness in the country.(NAN)
