A Non Governmental Organisation Charity for Cheers Organisation  in collaboration with Etisalat has offered free cataract surgery for 100 eye patients in Gombe and Bauchi states.
Head of Charity for Cheers Organization, Barrister Maryam Shehu Mohammed told reporters at Gombe Specialist Hospital that  the patients were selected from the grass root areas of the two states.
Head of government and community relations of Etisalat Nigeria, Muhammed Sule Yusuf said the gesture was part of their community initiative to ensure that they get down to the grass root and offer succour to the vulnerable people.
