The director of the foundation, Victor Akwaji, who spoke with newsmen at one of the venues of the exercise, explained that along with the free diagnosis and  treatment of various ailments, they provided free drugs,  15,000 free optometry  eye glasses and 15, 000 mosquito insecticide treated bed nets during the three days programme.
According to Akwaji, over N100 million was spent during the programme to ensure that everybody who had one health challenge or the other was attended to and given free drugs to address his situation.
He said: “Many people have terminal health condition like hypertension, typhoid, cataract and because of ignorance and poverty they continue to go to the farm without addressing such situations and when they die suddenly, their death is attributed to witchcraft”.
Mr Akwaji said he got the funding from Godilogo Farm that is based along the Obudu Ranch Resort road which is also concerned about the health of the people.
The Team Leader, Dr Charles Njoku said: “Educating and enlightening people, especially those at the grassroots on the need for regular check-up and treatment is very important.”
