The Executive Director, Resource Center for Human Rights and Civic Education (CHRICED), Ibrahim M Zikirullah who disclosed this while briefing the press, said the training was a pilot project supported by MISEREOR e. V, Germany aimed at strengthening democratic local governance by encouraging a culture of participation and accountability in Nigeria.

He stated that as a pilot project they were starting with Gwale Local Govt Council, saying they hoped to take it round the country in due course.
