A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Eye Plus Vision For Africa Initiative, is set to commence free eye treatment for 230 patients in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The Chairman of Eye Plus, Dr Baribiae Nyieyete, disclosed this when he led his team on a courtesy visit to the council Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Aliyu Tashas, in his office.
Dr Nyieyete said although the organisation would be carrying out the exercise in collaboration with the Nasarawa State Ministry of Health, his team was in Toto to seek official support before commencing the exercise.
Responding, the Chairman of Toto, Alhaji Abdullahi, thanked the NGO for including Toto among the benefitting LGAs, adding that his administration would give them all the necessary support.
