The Niger State governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, has called for more support for training of students at the Nigeria Military School as they form a larger part of the military personnel recruited in the country.
Governor Bello was the parade review officer and special guest of honour at the Nigeria Military School (NMS), 68th Anniversary and Founders Day held in Zaria.
The chief press secretary to the governor, Mary Noel-Berje, in a statement yesterday, quoted the governor as saying the students needed support and encouragement during the full military training, adding that it took a lot of sacrifice.
The governor, who is also an old boy of the school, enjoined other old students to contribute to its development, pointing out that the government cannot do it all.
