Niger hits N7bn revenue in Q1 2024

The Niger State Internal Revenue Service (NGSIRS) has announced N7,031,981,398.93 as revenue generated for the months of January, February and March 2024.

The agency said the new revenue marks a significant improvement from the total sum of N2,605,507,197.15 collected for the corresponding period in 2023, representing a 170% growth in the amount generated in comparative terms between Q1 2023 and Q1 2024.

The Executive Chairman of the Agency, Mohammed M. Etsu assured that the service was on course to deliver on its Year 2024 Budgetary IGR target of N5 billion per month.
