Nizamiye Hospital, Abuja, is offering Nigerians a 30 per cent discount on medical screening to celebrate the country’s 61st independence anniversary.

In a statement yesterday, the spokesperson of the hospital, Mohammed Abubakar, said the discounted medical screening was part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of the hospital towards encouraging Nigerians to undergo regular health check.

He said, “From experience, we realised that most Nigerians haven’t prioritised regular health screening, and as a means of encouraging Nigerians to undergo regular health checkup, we have offered a 30 per cent discount on all our checkup packages beginning from 1st October.”

He said the discounted medical checkup was a strong statement on why Nigerians must take their health seriously to detect illnesses at the early stages.
