The Nigeria Customs has again thrown many Nigerians into emotional trauma through false hope. After risking the lives of many Nigerians for screening and many officers giving hope that once the endurance test is done, the job will be gotten but all ended in a mirage. Many youths end up disappointed and their hope shattered as Nigerians Custom brought out names of people on ground of nepotism.
The rest applicants want to know why the Nigeria Customs did not bring out the 3, 200 names as defended before the National Assembly
We want to know why it took 3 years to select 1, 545 persons for the job. We want to know why more than half were dropped without explanation. Why supplementary recruitment when more than enough candidates shortlisted are still on ground waiting? We call on the Minister of Finances, Controller General of Customs and the Nigeria Customs Board to save us from this emotional and psychological trauma.
