Nigeria invests €48m in phase 2 of energy support prog – NEDP

Nigeria has invested €48 million in the second phase of its energy support programme, the Component Lead, Enabling Environment Nigerian Energy Support Programme (NESP), Mr Joshua Yari, has said.

Yari disclosed this at a one-day energy summit organised by the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) in collaboration with Abloom Trust Nigeria Ltd on Wednesday in Abuja with the theme: “Prospects of Energy Transition Plan”.

He noted that the programme was co-funded by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

He said that the Nigerian government would also be investing about €19m in the third phase.
