The Senior Manager at FCV International Academy, Kerem Karacauli, has said Nigeria is filled to the brim with football talents, stressing the need for proper structure to be put in place to bring out the best from them.

Karacauli, who was thrilled by the commitment and dedication of 100 young football players during the 2nd FCV Gladiator Camp’ 5-day clinic organised by Dynaspro Promotion Limited in collaboration with the UK-based FCV International Academy, highlighted the potential of young players.

“I’m impressed with what I have seen so far. Although most players are still developing, I believe they will improve over time. 

“We observed some key qualities in the players, such as their instinctive ball control and ability to plan their moves before receiving the ball. With these skills, I believe the lads have great potential,” he said.

In fulfillment of their promise to reward outstanding athletes at the end of the camp held at Grange School in Lagos, 18 Nigerian youngsters were awarded scholarships and will compete in a tournament in the United Kingdom (UK) in July.

Three of these youngsters will receive one-year full scholarships at the FCV Academy, located at Grace Dieu Manor Park in Thringstone, Leicestershire, while others will participate in a two-week development camp on the academy’s invitation.
