Other days are when my patients praise Nigerian health professionals in the UK to be competent but are sometimes very proud.
 Still there is some other days I am proud to a Nigerian in the UK when people discover I am a Nigerian and will ask me about the Nollywood movies which are watched in all almost Black British homes in the UK.
 Hardly will one come across a Black person in the UK who identifies you as a Nigerian without discussion centering on the Nollywood movies.
What really made me proud on Sunday the 12th of January 2014 was the discussion about global economy on BBC Radio 4. The program was broadcast between 9 O’clock and 10 O’clock in the morning that day.
The discussants were discussing the global economy viz the dominant economy now and those that dominate in the next ten years.
They were specific that the emerging economies in the next ten years are Mexico, Nigeria and Turkey
I was excited with joy in my heart when I heard one of the experts mentioning the economy that will emerge and dominant world affairs in the next ten years are Mexico, Nigeria and Turkey.  (MENT).
The discussants particularly mentioned Nigeria to have all the potentials to join the BRICS nations as they called it.
I later discovered the BRICS nations to be Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
It is equally interesting to note these days that the disdain with which we were treated at Heathrow Airport has subsided to some degree.
I appeal to the Federal government to capitalise on this opportunity to accelerate the transformation programs to join the BRICS nations.
The Nigerian government can actually request for the tape of the discussion for analysis and understudy why the BBC Radio 4 UK is optimistic that the Nigerian economy will be one of the dominant world economy in the next ten years.
I was all over the place with joy that at last something good is being said about Nigeria on BBC stations.
With purposeful leadership, Nigeria can actually be transformed. There appears to silver lining on the horizon.   In ten years time, it will be Nigeria rising.
The Nigerian High Commissioner in London should ask for that tape please.
