Speaking at the Oracle Day 2014 in Lagos, a vice president at Oracle Corporation, Janusz Naklicki, said global trends require both public and private entities to explore potentials of digital technology to enhance efficiency and productivity.
According to him, Oracle Day is observed yearly for partners and others to share expertise, advice, discuss problems and opportunities with peers, and see how the firm can help take control of clients’ Enterprise IT future.
This year’s Oracle Day in Nigeria was used to push the agenda that digital disruption is transforming the modern business environment, with technologies like cloud and Big Data presenting a fresh set of challenges and provided new opportunities for stakeholders.
Naklicki noted that as organisations embark on digital transformation, big data, cloud, social, mobile and internet of everything have become key elements that will transform business outlook.
