An aspiration for the President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Umar Lauya Hardawa, has stated that there is the need to create more opportunities for Youth to tackle the challenges facing the country.
Speaking during his declaration for the office, Laura decried the lack of job opportunities crime rates among youths.
He however said his intention to run for the post is to help bring solutions to the issues youth face in the country using strategic approach and collaboration.
“My missions are clear, and InshaAllah, with your support, with Allah’s guidance, we will try our all possible best to fight, to lobby, and to beg for the benefit of Nigerian youth to amend the situation.”
“My missions are clear, I will start with empowerment through skills, elevations and job opportunities, the second one, as we all know, sport is a unifier and we can use this medium to unite our youth to be under one umbrella.
“I also plan to revived student leadership by building stronger youth bodies as platforms for future leaders. As well as strengthening loan schemes, reviving Presidential Youth Awards, and true inclusion in governance.”

I have the experience, networks, and commitment to turn These promises into results for you.”
He added that Nigerian youths can unite beyond politics, tribe, or religion and it is about taking the rightful place in shaping Nigeria’s destiny.
