‘Nigeria of my Dream’ arts exhibition to open in Abuja

The exhibition, which will be showcasing contemporary works of Nigerian artists, will open on Saturday November 26 and run through to Tuesday December 6th at the exclusive Casalinda Gallery Lounge, Colorado Close, Maitama, Abuja. The exhibition will be open from 9am-9pm daily.

In a pre-exhibition statement, Mr Gandi Obiefule of Casalinda said, “The arts and culture of a people is the basic foundation by which a great nation can be built. Nigeria has a great history of arts and culture and it is on this foundation that she must stand in her quest to build a great stable nation.”

On his part, the Chairman of the Society of Nigeria Artists, Eze Obizue, lauded the efforts of Casalinda in promoting Nigerian arts saying, “That Casalinda chose to collaborate with the Society of Nigerian Artist symbolizes many firsts in the annals of professional excellent performances in modern times in Nigeria and Abuja in particular.”

Numerous artists from all over the country working on various media are expected  to showcase their works at the exhibition and arts patrons from the diplomatic community and Nigerians from all walks of life are expected to grace the event where they will also have the opportunity to buy art works directly from the producers.
