Nigeria has recorded five new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, driving the number of confirmed cases up to 70.
As at 8:00pm on Friday, March 27, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported 5 new cases.
The 5 new cases are: 3 in FCT and 2 in Oyo State.
The NCDC in a tweet wrote: “Five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 3 in FCT & 2 in Oyo State”.

At the moment, 3 persons have been discharged while 1 death has been recorded so far.
With the new cases, FCT now has 14 cases, Oyo has three, Lagos has the highest number, 44. Ogun has three, Bauchi has two while Ekiti, Rivers, Osun and Edo all has one case each.
