Despite the current economic recession in the country, Nigeria remains the best place for real estate investment in Africa, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Sujimoto, Sijibomi Ogundele has said.
He urged global inventors to consider putting their money in Nigerian real estate sector, saying they would not regret it.
Ogundele stated this, in his address, at the IDE 10th Hotelier Summit in Sandton, Johannesburg, according to a statement issued by the firm in Lagos.
He was honoured at the event with the ‘Hospitality Honorarium Grand 2017 Award’ in appreciation of his tenacity and contribution to the hospitality and luxury industry in sub-Saharan Africa.
Ogundele who shared his success story in real estate industry stressed the importance of innovation and perseverance and well horned entrepreneurship in pulling through the challenges of real estate.
“There is no doubt that there is recession but we still have a vibrant real estate industry in Nigeria and the country remains the best investment haven for real estate in Africa,” he told the global community.
