The championship serves off on November 22 and all teams are putting finishing touches to their preparations for the game.

“All the teams are putting finishing touches to their preparations, as the event promises to be exciting following the recent sponsorship deal signed by the continental body,” President Africa Table Tennis Federation (ATTF), Khaled El-Salhy said.

In order to avoid another poor outing like the one experienced in the last edition in Kinshasha, Congo DRC, the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF) has invited five foreign-based table tennis players for the championship.

The foreign-based will join the seven selected home-based players to form a formidable 12-man team that will stop other African opponents from winning the title this time around.
