Nigerian Air Force commences night flying training in Lagos

As the Nigerian Air Force commences night flying training exercise in Lagos, the State Government has advised residents not to panic.
The State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Steve Ayorinde who gave the advice, said the exercise would be from 18th to 23rd April, between 7.00pm and 11.00pm daily.
According to Ayorinde, the exercise would involve the use of the C-130 Hercules Aircraft and the 201 Heavy Airlift Group by the Nigerian Air Force, and that the C-130 Hercules Aircraft would fly very low in some locations across the state, but assured that residents should not panic as all precautionary and safety measures had been arranged.
