NASDC’s Director Brig- General Emmanuel G. Whyte disclosed this when he led a delegation on a courtesy visit to NASENI.
 The visitors and the hosts discussed issues on how the two parties will partner to achieve a common goal by planning to build research capacity via personnel development programme in collaboration with partners in the Public sector.
According to Brig General Whyte, some areas of collaboration with NASENI includes, assistance with workshop facilities such as Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment, Laser engraving machine, 3D Printer etc., establishment of joint research project in area of robotics and Mechatronics and joint training as well as joint research schemes for knowledge exchange especially in the area of reverse engineering.
Others are joint projects in the area of prototype development, product refining, testing, mass production and marketing.
He also said NASENI could assist them in setting up of its proposed Micro-electronics Development laboratory and facilitate linkage with researchers, inventors, industries, Universities and research institutions to enable joint research knowledge transfer.
