Celebrities are usually in the habit of giving back to their fans and communities who helped them attain fame and wealth. Rahama Sadau
In 2016, the actress established the Ray of Hope Foundation, a non-profit organisation that provides aid and assistance to those who are less fortunate.

The foundation’s activities include regular trips to IDP camps, orphanages, catering to almajirais, physically challenged people and poverty reduction.
In February this year, Rahama had mentioned that she donated all her earnings from a movie to the foundation.
According to Daily Trust, the statement reads: “She has dedicated all the money garnered in her newly released movie— “Nadeeya”, to this great foundation. We’re so much grateful and pleased for this humanitarian gesture. All resources channeled will be put into good use. Thank you, Queen Rahama Sadau. You have been consistently amazing and inspiring with your works,”
Mansura Isah
The Kannywood actress began her NGO called Today Life Foundation in 2010 to help the poor. Her foundation also gives foodstuff and clothes to children in orphanage homes. Over time, the foundation has partnered with popular philanthropists who have donated money and foodstuffs to be shared among less privileged children. The foundation’s focus is to eradicate poverty and hunger. The foundation has over 500 child beneficiaries whose school fees are being paid and their parents being empowered in various entrepreneurial skills.
Hadiza Aliyu
Hadiza Aliyu, better known by her stage name Hadiza Gabon, is a Nollywood and Kannywood actress and filmmaker. The Kannywood star is noted for her generosity and extended simplicity. In 2016, she established the Hadiza Aliyu Gabon Foundation, (HAG Foundation), a philanthropic organisation. The foundation was established with the goal of improving the lives of ordinary people by assisting them in the areas of education, healthcare, and food security.
Empress Njamah
Empress Njamah’s love for charity is enormous. She has a widespread activity on charities around the country.
Her foundation provides for the needs of Nigerian children around the country. The House of Empress Njamah Foundation has been projecting the image and well-being of Nigerian children throughout major states of the federation for the past 15 years, including Lagos, Borno, Rivers, and Abuja. Empress Njamah has hosted over 2000 children in a single charity programme with high-cost souvenirs, food, clothing, toiletries, and mosquito nets. This actress has made a significant contribution to empowering tomorrow’s.
Stephanie Okereke Linus
Stephanie founded the “Extended Hands Foundation” after recognising Vesico vaginal Fistula (VVF) as a hazardous illness among women. She’s been campaigning for years raising awareness and finances for surgeries.
She has also lent a helping hand to young people who aspire to pursue careers in the film industry through the Del York International programme, which she co-founded with the New York Film Academy.
Omotola Jolade Ekehinde
The actress promotes her social cause through her NGO, Omotola Youth Empowerment Initiative Project, which hosts empowerment talks and programmes for young people. The 20 Widows Makeover, which she runs in honour of her late mother, is one of the program’s most well-known inititive.
Her charity continues with Save The Children UK, Enough is Enough, and Amnesty International, where she works on issues such as Sierra Leone’s Maternal Mortality Crisis and the Niger Delta’s Own Up, Pay Up, and Clean Up campaign.
DJ Cuppy
Dj Cuppy is an artist and the daughter of Femi Otedola, a well-known businessman. Dj Cuppy has a charity called the Cuppy Foundation, which is dedicated to addressing issues such as child welfare and education for girls and people with disabilities (minorities). This Foundation arose from Cuppy’s great desire to provide persons who have been neglected and relegated to the margins of society with a chance to construct the life they wish, a chance that every person on the planet deserves. The Cuppy foundation has benefitted over 9000 people.
Waje
Waje’s Safe House s founded in 2012 to help women and children all around Africa. The safe house’s first initiative was to provide financial assistance to a primary school for students in the impoverished slum area of Makoko in Lagos. Waje’s Safe House recently teamed up with women organisations in three Nigerian cities to give ICT training and facilities to young and adult women.
Uchemba Williams
Uchemba Williams, a Nigerian actor, comedian, and brand influencer, is a male Nigerian celebrity who deserves more recognition for his charitable activities and unshakable willingness to help make the world a better place for people around him.
In 2018, he founded the Uchemba Williams foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing possibilities for a decent living for children, young people, women, and men through social welfare, literacy, poverty eradication, community development, and job creation.
In the past three years, he has adopted over 3-4 less fortunate youngsters, rescuing them from the streets, providing scholarships, meeting all of their needs, and assuming a fatherly role in their lives. He also recently assisted a 67-year-old widow in completing her house, after living in a one-room apartment for 17 years.
Tonto Dikeh
Tonto Dikeh’s concern for poor and displaced women, girls, youths, and children in Africa led to the establishment of the Tonto Dikeh Foundation in the year 2000. The Tonto Dikeh Foundation is a non-profit organisation that helps abused women, unintended pregnancies as a result of molestation/rape, and children without mothers all over the world. Beneficiaries of this foundation have been given lots of humanitarian assistance.
