Some Nigerian entrepreneurs who are hoping to take advantage of latest technological advancements for the growth of their businesses have expressed delight as renowned global web hosting company HUB8 reaches Nigeria.
Entrepreneur Sani Ibrahim, who owns a computer accessories shop in Wuse, Abuja told Daily Trust on Monday that HUB8 in Nigeria means small businesses like his can now afford to have a high level global web hosting service for a little amount which will uplift his venture.
“It’s a good development because having a very good global web hosting company that is affordable isn’t easy and they have a reputation of helping emerging outfits like mine get a very robust online presence. I really look forward to benefitting from their presence in Nigeria.” Ibrahim said.
While, online publisher Joshua Odeyemi said their coming to Nigeria is a good development as they have what it takes to give the other web hosting companies a good run for their money.
In a statement sent to Daily Trust, the Director of Emerging Markets at HUB8 Dmitry Deniskin said some of the services offered by the company include Domains, free web hosting (for as low as N350), free backups and website builder.
“To make it easy for all Nigerians, HUB8 has a local website,https://ng.hub8.com and all potential customers will be able to access domain and hosting services via local banks, the company is also open to accepting payments via international VISA and Mastercard and as well as Verve cards among others.” The statement read.
