Nigerian Exporters Hub Sensitizes Youth Corp Members Nationwide

Zeenab Foods Limited, in collaboration with its subsidiary, Nigerian Exporters Hub (NEXHUB), has trained 2024 Batch A Stream 1 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members.

The training, which took place on February 21-23 across orientation camps, is part of strategic moves to boost Nigeria’s non-oil export sector and empower its youth,

It focused on imparting essential skills and knowledge to participants, enabling them to excel in the non-oil export sector, thereby playing a crucial role in fostering youth entrepreneurship and promoting economic diversification.

According to the Director of NYSC Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED), Mrs Nwatarali Ngozi Dorathy, the initiative is not only about skill acquisition but also about empowering young Nigerians towards self-reliance.

“This initiative plays a pivotal role in empowering young Nigerians towards self-reliance and contributing significantly to economic growth,” she said.

A participant said: “The program provided practical insights that will guide us in navigating the export landscape and seizing opportunities.”

Another participant said NEXHUB’s provision of verified buyers for the export of any agro commodity had streamlined the process, instilling confidence and ensuring smooth transactions for aspiring exporters.

NEXHUB, since its inception has trained over 2.2 million youth corps members.
