Nigerian hit maker, Abdul Rasaq Ishola, aka Donny Crown, is striving relentlessly at success as he hasn’t slowed down on building himself and his music career.

Born 30th April, 1993 in Ado, Ekiti State, Donny Crown is a versatile artist, one with a sweet blend of afrobeats and the core of the streets. Twisting slangs and rhythms into beautiful sounds is one of his major strengths.

Although Donny Crown schooled in Fountain International High School, Ado Ekiti, his lineage is traced back to Lagelu local government area in the great city of Ibadan, Oyo State. He is also a graduate of Applied Mathematics from the Adekunle Ajasin  University.

The Ado Ekiti breed has worked with various star artist’s in the music industry including big names like Magnito, Bad Boy Timz, Jaywills and Mohbad.

In 2023, Donny Crown released a hit song with Mohbad titled “Money for Hand” a song that went on to be a street anthem, the official video was Premiered on MTV Base and raking nearly 1 million streams on Spotify, taking its spot in the Spotify Top 50 Nigeria and Apple Music music top 100.

He is currently pushing his entertainment brand “Mede Digital” as an indie artist and has touched levels of success.
