The International Day of Happiness is commemorated annually on March 20, to promote happiness. This day was  founded  by the United Nations. The question here is, are Nigerians truly happy? The answer to this crucial question is that people who do not have access to three square meals per day cannot be called happy. Besides, the inflation rate which is currently at 14.39 per cent, is not helping the people. 

Therefore, I can say that Nigerians are not happy and they can only attain that happy status if things change for the better. The leaders must be ready to deliver dividends of democracy. The issue of unemployment should be tackled as well.
