The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has said what Nigerians crave is a country that offers everyone equity, fairness and justice for all.
Chairman, National Planning Committee of NIPR’s Citizens Summit for National Integration, Peace & Security, Dr Ike Neliaku, who made this known on Friday in Abuja during a press briefing, said after several consultative visits to leaders in all geo-political zones in the country, it was obvious that Nigerians still believe in Nigeria and want a federal republic.

He noted that the issue of federal character seemed to have been the cause of disunity all the while but had always been taken for granted by stakeholders.
Neliaku insisted that the strength of Nigerians does not lie in the mineral resources and other resources of the country but in the diversity of the people, hence dialogue was important in order to protect the integrity and unity of Nigeria.
According to him, the institute had set up a committee to come up with a summit that will involve Nigerians at all levels and give an opportunity for a dialogue to resolve all differences and protect Nigeria’s integrity.
