The Infinix Hot 2 X510 is a sequel to last year’s Infinix’s entry-level smartphone, the Infinix Hot X507.
The Infinix Hot 2 is the first mobile phone in Africa fitted with Google’s new Android One OS framework, which enables it to upgrade to the latest Android OS version as soon as it becomes available.
Its 720 x 1280 pixel display gives a sharper, more colorful display, which is instantly evident the moment the phone comes on.
The hardware has a similar 1.3 GHz quad-core processor to the Infinix Hot, but the upgraded OS ensures faster and much smoother navigation. For those interested in even more productivity, the Infinix Hot 2 comes in 1GB RAM and 2GB RAM versions.
It is a dual-sim phone, and has a slot for an external memory card, although it doesn’t come with one.
Lola Olatunji said, “I am using mine for one week now and its a bargain at its price. Android Lollipop 5.1 is now a very mature OS in design and performance. 2GB RAM makes operation and multitasking smooth. Screen has very good picture quality and responsiveness.”
Another user, Patrick Oyewole opined that 3G reception is faster than my previous device. Battery can last till evening if used moderately.”
