President Goodluck has been accredited at his Polling Unit in Otuoke, Bayelsa state.

President Jonathan   had earlier called on Nigerians to be patient with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) if they experience difficulties in the accreditation process for Saturday’s Presidential and national Assembly Elections.

The President said this  after he and his wife spent about 30 minutes trying to get accredited without success, while his mother, Afeni Eunice got accredited.
He said he was going to vote because he is not a ghost voter, adding that the problem associated with the accreditation is due to the fact that the Card Reader is being used for the first time in Nigeria now.

Meanwhile authentication of voter’s card have continued for people at the President’s Polling Unit after the first family left.

The president eventually got accredited.
