Nigerians urged to invest more in agriculture

Reeling out streams of prophesies in his New Year message at his Central Christian Church International headquarters in Calabar, Isong prophesied that farming would become the major occupational attraction in the country.
“I want to encourage many Nigerians to invest more in agriculture and students should go and study or involve in agriculture as it shall soon become the money-spinner in the coming years,” he said.
“I have seen how farming would be well promoted in Nigeria. Farmers would enjoy much governmental support more than anybody else.”
He said he has seen how cocoa will, once again, play a major role in Nigeria’s economy, adding: “Investors in cocoa shall greatly profit in 2015. This is because government’s policies towards cocoa shall be favourable.”
According to him, wheat shall be promoted as a substitute for rice consumption in Nigeria.
