Nigerians, wake up!
Nigerians, wake up!

Today, the government of Nigeria has failed to rededicate itself to the preservation of those inalienable rights. These rights need to be carrying forth the torch lit by those great founders. The current government officials, especially those in public office, need to remember the light doesn’t always shine as bright as it should. It flickers and grows dim, because of apathy, greed, fear and insincerity.
There is need to remember that in democracy the people get the government they deserve. Having this deserved government, we need to wake up and help each other, irrespective of religion, ethnicity and other differences. We also need to share the responsibility history has placed on all Nigerians. The future of this country, our future, depends on it.
We have to do what is deemed necessary to protect our country from falling down. It is our responsibility as patriots to stop those not willing to serve us with integrity and sincerity from accomplishing their objectives. We cannot sit by and watch them with smug look in their faces and expect us to accept their selfish words. We know what democratic government is supposed to do to their people. We hope it will be done before it’s too late.
So let us be where we are, because we all believe in all possibilities. And fight and keep fighting for our rights without giving up. We will never allow ourselves to be buried when we are not dead yet.
