A total 661 new cases of coronavirus infections were confirmed on Saturday, raising the country’s cumulative burden of Covid-19 to 19,808, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced.

A total 661 new cases of coronavirus infections were confirmed on Saturday, raising the country’s cumulative burden of Covid-19 to 19,808, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced.

A total 12,584 remain active cases.

A total 506 people have died so far from coronavirus in Nigeria, according to data released by NCDC.

Another 6,718 people have been discharged from hospital.

Lagos remains the epicentre of coronavirus, with 230 of new coronavirus infections reported on Saturday.
