Nile University of Nigeria has opened the Lagos Liaison Office of the Nile Business School, extending its reach in executive education and reinforcing its commitment to producing transformative leaders capable of driving economic growth across Africa.

The liaison office is expected to provide professionals, entrepreneurs, and corporate executives with access to world-class business education rooted in African realities and global best practices.

Speaking during the unveiling ceremony, the Pro-Chancellor of Nile University, John Vermaaten, described the development as a significant milestone in the institution’s mission to expand educational opportunities and positively impact society.

“This is the beginning of a long journey to grow Nile University and deepen our impact on students, professionals, and organisations. Education remains one of the most powerful tools for transformation, and we are excited about the opportunities this liaison office will create,” he said.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dilli Dogo, emphasised that the Lagos Liaison Office reflects Nile University’s philosophy of delivering practical and impactful education.

He noted that the institution has invested heavily in innovative teaching methodologies, including virtual reality, augmented reality, and simulation-based learning, to ensure participants acquire the skills required to excel in modern business environments.

“What we offer goes beyond traditional business education. We are building leaders who can solve real-world challenges, create value, and contribute meaningfully to national development,” Prof. Dogo said.

The Dean of Nile Business School, Professor Noel Tagoe, added that the school’s curriculum is specifically designed to equip participants with practical competencies while fostering an African-centred approach to leadership and problem-solving.
