NIPCO Plc has rewarded customers with a total of N16 million in cash prizes following a lucky draw held in Abuja, in a move aimed at recognising customer loyalty and strengthening its brand presence in Nigeria’s competitive downstream oil and gas market.
The draw took place at the company’s flagship service station in Wuse II, Abuja, and attracted customers, company executives and other stakeholders who gathered to witness the exercise.
Prizes on offer ranged from N100,000 to a grand prize of N5 million for customers who purchased petrol and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at NIPCO retail outlets. The star prize of N5 million was won by Lucky Obiora from Delta State.
Other winners received cash prizes of N1 million, N800,000, N600,000, N500,000, N300,000, N200,000 and N100,000.
NIPCO said the initiative was designed to appreciate its customers while promoting the company’s brand and products across the country. Winners at the event praised the company for the quality and reliability of its products.
One of the winners, Edwin Okechukwu, who received N800,000, described the reward as timely support amid prevailing economic challenges. “NIPCO’s gesture is a big encouragement. I will definitely continue buying from NIPCO,” he said.
Speaking at the event, Managing Director of NIPCO Plc, Mr Suresh Kumar, said the company was delighted to reward customers for their loyalty and continued patronage.
“We are thrilled to reward our loyal customers with these fantastic prizes. We value their loyalty and commitment to NIPCO, and this is just a small token of our appreciation,” Kumar said.
He added that the company would continue to deliver quality products and services while rolling out more customer-focused initiatives in the coming year. “In 2026, we will introduce more customer-friendly initiatives to make doing business with NIPCO even easier,” he said.
Kumar also reaffirmed NIPCO’s commitment to ensuring nationwide availability of petroleum products and cooking gas.
“As we move into the new year, we are committed to ensuring access to both white oils—petrol and diesel—as well as LPG at all NIPCO service stations nationwide. We will continue to invest in our infrastructure to meet the growing demands of our customers,” he stated.
He expressed optimism about the company’s future, noting that NIPCO looks forward to serving its customers for many years to come.
The lucky draw was open to customers who purchased petrol and LPG at NIPCO retail outlets across the country. Winners were selected through a transparent random process, with details verified before prizes were awarded.
Many of the beneficiaries expressed excitement, saying they planned to invest the winnings in their businesses or use the funds to support their families.
The initiative forms part of NIPCO’s broader strategy to engage customers, reward loyalty and build lasting relationships nationwide.
