The president of the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST), Comrade Gabriel Imafidon, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to as a matter of urgency appoint a substantive Postmaster General for the organization.
Speaking at a press conference yesterday, he said since the retirement of the last Postmaster General 10 months ago, the delay in appointing a new one was affecting the organization and staff morale.
He also urged the federal government to assist NIPOST to clear  all impediments to the stamp duty implementation as well as look in the direction of the agency for job creation.
He decried the low patronage of the organization by government agencies and departments, adding that NIPOST services should be well embraced by all and sundry as it symbolized the nation’s pride.
