An Abuja-based private medical facility, Nisa Premier Hospital, has promised to support the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Chief Executive Officer of Nisa, Dr. Ibrahim Wada, made the pledge while donating two ventilators and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to boost the FCTA’s effort in the battle to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the territory.

Dr. Wada said the hospital was committed to providing ambulance support to move symptomatic patients from one point to the other as part of its corporate social responsibility throughout the period of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Responding on behalf of the FCTA, the FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, described the support as unique, adding that the equipment would be used even after the COVID-19 pandemic.
