NITT tasks FG on deplorable roads

The students called on the federal government to rehabilitate roads in the state as they have become deplorable.
During a visit to Cross River ministry of works, a director of NITT, Mallam Hamisu Dabai urged the federal government not to hesitate to refund the state after rehabilitating or constructing federal roads.
“Our appeal to the federal government is that they should please help to repair these federal roads in Cross River State or assure the state of refunds whenever such is worked by the state,” the team leader said.
The NITT team received by the ministry’s director of civil services, Engr. Godwin Akeke visited Nigerian Inland Waterways Agency (NIWA), Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) among others.
