It argued that the use of the card readers and PVCs would eliminate rigging and  produce transparent and credible results.
Deputy President of the NLC Comrade Peters Adeyemi who spoke at the opening of a voter education and sensitisation workshop for workers in Abuja said credible polls will ensure accountability from politicians and promote good governance in all sectors.
 In the workshop organised by the Centre for Labour Studies and Advocacy in collaboration with INEC, Adeyemi added that the congress would support any other process that would make the general elections a credible one.
 On his part, the Executive Director of the centre, Comrade John Odah said politicians who are trying to stop the use of the card readers are doing so because it would be hard to rig their way into office.
