The Nigerian Medical Association, FCT Chapter, has enjoined the federal government to appoint a substantive Chief Medical Director for the National Hospital Abuja.

Dr Charles Ugwuanyi, Chairman NMA-FCT, at a news briefing  in Abuja yesterday, said appointment of a substantive  CMD would streamline developmental trends and high standards of medical service delivery for  patients.

He called for due and transparent process in the appointment of CMD.
