Nneka Egbuna, 35, is recognized by fans on first name basis. Her sound, unique and difficult to categorise, saw her becoming a bona fide international star, appearing on famous TV shows and performing alongside the biggest megastars. The soft-spoken, charismatic singer is also known for her love for books. She told Bookshelf that the last good book she has read is ‘The Four Agreements’, by bestselling author don Miguel Ruiz. 

Said to be based on ancient Toltec wisdom, a blurb says the book offers a powerful code of conduct that can rapidly transform lives to a new experience of freedom, true happiness, and love. “It’s an amazing book, because it helps us become better people and live peacefully,” Nneka said.
