The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has dared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to suspend him from the party.

He said with his record in “producing” governor and senators on the platform of the party, no one could suspend him

The former Rivers State governor spoke on Wednesday on Channels Television, adding that he was only working for President Bola Tinubu, and not the All Progressives Congress.

He said, “I am here to work for a party, but rather a president who has shown confidence in me to help him to deliver the Renewed Hope. And I owe nobody any apology at all. I was in PDP and I worked with Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“In the South East and South South the president won only Rivers State. How can anybody talk about suspending me. I produced a governor and three senators. I am still a member of the PDP. I have not seen that person. They can’t do it.”

Wike stated that President TTinubu appointed him as FCT minister because he wanted somebody who would act.
