Nollywood gears up for STRIVE debut

Soon after, others films like Ije the movie By Chineze, The Return of Jenifa by Funke Akindele, Eti Keta by Saidi Balogun, Phone Swap by Kunle Afolyan and many others cropped up and have done well at the big screens in Nigeria.

STRIVE is a movie by shot with state of the art high definition cameras and equipment. The movie features a superlative amalgam of creative actors like Bimbo Manuel, Kunle Coker, Yemi Blaq, Bryan Okwara, Uru Eke and others.

STRIVE makes its debut in all cinemas across the country. The movie is expected to make its first premier in Abuja on November 1st and 8th 2012 at the Abuja Sheraton Hotel. The blockbuster is expected to run for weeks big screens across the country.

Shedding light on why he produced STRIVE, Mr. Omoefe said “The inspiration for this project ‘STRIVE’ evolved from the zeal for growth and possible contribution to the Nigerian Movie industry. I believe that the industry carries the image and brand of the African people”

The movie drives to tackle the issues being faced in our society, previewing the different perspectives and façade of the life of an average Nigerian, the effect of good and positive attitude on bad behavior, outlining our country’s shortfalls and promoting hope for a greener country. In a bid to support the transformation campaign of our nation our organization intends to impact the film industry in Nigeria in the following ways” he said.

Also making the movie spectacular is that it was directed by Alex Mouth CEO Blast media international a media and Production Company. His passion for being challenged creatively has put him in high demand for movies across the country.

Strive is the story of two young men Frank and Ray played by Yemi Blaq and Bryan Okwara and their struggle for survival in the rough environment in which they find themselves where drug deals and armed robbery were the order of the day. Things begin to change as Ray decides to take another path and change his ways while Frank ventures into working for BJAY, the most notorious King pin ever known played by Bimbo Manuel.

As frank makes headway in actualizing his dream he is forced to adhere to Bjay’s demands in satisfying Bjay’s client’s urge to have his childhood friend Jenny (Lillian Esoro). Frank and ray are found at cross roads and are torn between making the most important decision that may hurt them forever.
