Normalcy has returned to the Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary in Ikorodu, Lagos, following the rescue of the three female students who were abducted from the school premises by suspected kidnappers penultimate Monday. The girls were rescued by the police on Sunday morning.
When our reporters visited the school after the rescue, some of the students who had been moved out of the school by their parents in the wake of the abduction were seen in the company of their parents returning to the school with their luggage. People were also seen discussing the latest development in groups.
The security in the school has, however, been beefed up as any person without a genuine business is not allowed into the school premises. The security men at the gate told our reporters that they were under strict instruction not to allow any unauthorized persons into the school premises.
Lectures which were suspended during the abduction saga have also resumed.
