The North West APC Youth League has distanced itself from a group claiming to represent a coalition of All Progressives Congress (APC) support organizations in Kebbi State, saying it has no official link with the party’s recognized structure.

Speaking at a press briefing in Kaduna on Wednesday, the National Coordinator of the league, Comrade Aliyu Suleiman, reaffirmed the group’s loyalty and support for the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.

Suleiman described Senator Bagudu as a dedicated leader whose contributions to the APC, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, and the development of Kebbi State and the North West region remain significant.

“Senator Bagudu has consistently demonstrated leadership that promotes unity, youth development, and good governance. His experience and commitment to inclusive growth continue to strengthen our party,” Suleiman said.

The youth leader emphasized that party unity and collaboration remain essential for sustaining progress across the region.

“We encourage our members and supporters to remain focused on the APC’s developmental agenda and to continue supporting the leadership of Governor Nasir Idris and other party stakeholders,” he added.

The league reiterated its commitment to promoting youth participation, policy advocacy, and grassroots mobilization in line with the APC’s vision for national renewal and regional stability.

The event was attended by senior officials of the North West APC Youth League and other stakeholders who expressed confidence in Senator Bagudu’s continued role in advancing the party’s objectives in Kebbi State and beyond.
