The Concerned Northern Forum of Nigeria (CNFN) has voiced its support for the Chief Whip of the Senate, Mohammed Ali Ndume, who recently claimed that hunger has worsened in Nigeria under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
During an appearance on Arise TV last Thursday, Senator Ndume highlighted the worsening hunger and insecurity in the nation.
He also noted the difficulty some ministers, special advisers, and other federal government appointees face in accessing the president.
Malam Abdulkadir Kura, Coordinator of the CNFN, expressed the forum’s stance in a press statement, stating that Senator Ndume accurately reflected the sentiments of average Nigerians experiencing severe economic hardship.

The group urged Nigerians to pray for divine intervention to alleviate the widespread hunger and insecurity.
Kura pointed out the harsh reality of millions of Nigerians as they struggle to afford two meals a day due to skyrocketing prices of basic food items like garri, maize, and tomatoes.
