A northern group called the Northern Unity Front (NUF) has called on leaders in the north to prioritize the collective good over individual ambition.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman of NUF, Comrade Yusuf Umar.

“The Northern Unity Front calls upon all northern leaders to prioritize the collective good over individual ambition, to respect the legacies of our past, and to work towards a future that embodies the values of unity, respect, and humility.

“The Northern Unity Front remains committed to advocating for true leadership that honors the sacrifices of our past leaders and fosters a political culture that is inclusive, respectful, and progressive.

“We invite all northern constituents to join us in holding our leaders accountable and ensuring that the values of our great region are upheld and cherished”, the statement said.
