A coalition of Northern and Southern Youth Leaders Forum, has rejected calls demanding the sack of the Group Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Mele Kyari.
The coalition include Northern and Southern Youth Leaders Forum (NSYLF); Arewa Youth Movement; Yoruba Youths Ethnic Nationalities Movement; Niger Delta Women for Peace and Good Governance; Igbo Youth National Movement; Ibibio/Efik Youths World Wide and the Niger Delta Ex-militant Movement for Peace
Speaking on behalf of the group at a news conference Tuesday in Abuja, Comrade Emmanuel Fiawei Pathfinder, Convener of NSYLF, described Kyari as a game-changer of the oil and gas sector.
The coalition urged President Bola Tinubu to disregard the calls by the “blackmailers, who are sponsored by oil theft cabals in the country.”
