The former member l House of Representatives, Sani Kutigi, has charged parents and guardians in the North to invest in their children’s education for sustainable development of the region. Kutigi gave the advice in his remarks at end of year reunion organised by 1980 set of old students of the Federal Government College, Kwali Abuja, Kaduna chapter. He described western education as a key to social development in any society, advising parents and guardians to embrace it.

He decried the low level of western education in the North saying it was responsible for numerous social challenges in the region and thus tasked parents to wake up to the call and educate their children for social transformation of the region.
