An alleged notorious drug dealer in Koko-Besse local government area of Kebbi State, popularly known as Mata Masu shaye-shaye, Hajiya Abu Musa, is currently on the run after escaping arrest by officials of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in the state.
The Commandant of NDLEA in Kebbi State, Alhaji Suleiman Jadi, confirmed her escape to journalists saying “We are seriously looking for her. She is well known as a notorious marijuana dealer in Koko community. All her exhibits are with us in polyethylene bags. She is selling the drugs in pieces to her customers.”
Hajiya Musa, who was alleged to have been in the drug business for the past 20 years, was said to have abandoned her consignment of marijuana and escaped before she could be apprehended by the officials of the NDLEA.
Our sources said this was not the first time she would be escaping arrest.
One of the sources added that “She is well connected in the state and this had sustained her in the business for the past 20 years now.”
